How it all began

T h e s t o r y o f u s

We started from a small family vineyard located on the southern slopes of Fruško Gora above Iriga, with the desire that our small family winery grow and develop a completely new wave of Serbian winemaking. Kovačević Winery in 2019. began the conversion of its vineyards to organic cultivation, all in order to restore Fruška Gora to its old glory, which once again shone from its slopes crowned with organic vines.

Aurelius S Edition

Aurelius S Edition 2014 is the first wine from the “Edition S” wine line of Kovačević Winery. This wine – very strong and extractive, was obtained through careful selections that followed the entire production process. We select the best grapes from the best vineyards, pick them by hand, carefully press them and let them ripen in the best barrels for 18 months.

White wines

Chardonnay S Edition

On the nose, an intense and complex wine with dominant aromas of tropical fruit, pear and biscuit. A complex, full-bodied wine with pronounced tertiary aromas. The taste is ideally integrated with refined aromas of nuts, figs, vanilla with the freshness of ripe fruit, which is adorned by a long-lasting buttery finish with notes of oriental dry spices.

On the sunny slopes of the Fruška Gora vineyards, the Kovačević Winery has been operating since 2019. gives every sip a natural stamp through a complete transition to organic production.

Driven by the desire to improve wine culture and enrich wine routes, Miroslav Kovačević took over in 2013. historical Irish cellar “Podrum 1930.” This magnificent edifice of an authentic ambient whole represents an inestimable value for Irig, not only because of its rich history but also because of the preservation and nurturing of the wine tradition of this region.
